finally, I found jewelry 'tar I could live with (I'll take Captain Jack's jewels any day)... I am so uninspired by most women's jewelry - sorry - I know its not a popular thing to say...

I agree with you. Everything looks alike. I love the pretties made by Mermaid. I'm dying to learn how to bead. I even have pics of cool stuff that I want to copy!

Oh good! After I typed that I was afraid I had gotten Tootsie's necklace confused with someone else! After 3 or 4 Corona's and the cheese dip, it all ran together in my memory!

I'll agree that Tootsie has eye-catching jewelry. I liked a pair of earrings I saw her wear. They were very simple and suited her perfectly. I spent this afternoon cleaning up my bead box and I can finally find everything, so I think I'm going to try my hand at my own interpretation!

GOTO MOM - I was wearing the leather necklace with the tahitian pearl, very simple. these are worn by everyone in sowal, and made by Wendy and Jeannot of Rendevouz Wine Bar (seaside). I've already converted it to a bracelt - after wearing it for several months as a necklace. On to something else... simple.

I have several of thier pieces and them. I wear them all the time! They go with everything!
