more Football tongue lashing than you can throw a stick at

BR-

Auburn has never been the War Eagles. Just tigers. War Eagle is sort of a 'battle cry' that we scream for a reason I don't feel like typing out. Calling Auburn the War Eagles would be like calling Alabama the "Roll Tides".

LSU fans smell like corn dogs. I don't know why, they just do. But they can party like nothing you've ever seen.

Kurt,

Do we have a game time for the FL/Auburn game?
Thanks for the partial explanation. I can extrapolate from there. :)

As far as LSU fans go, dunno about the corn dogs. That's not exactly Cajun cuisine. I would understand if you thought they smelled like andouille, crawfish, or beer -- that's how we smelled when we were at Tulane. :funn:

I, too, am anxious to hear when the UF/AU game will be and on what network it will be televised. Still trying to get tickets, but if I can't and can watch the game on my portable TV, I might attend the SoWal par-tay. That is, if I can talk Mr. Dr. BR into it.

That game worries me to death so it might be a good idea if I don't get to watch it.

Oooh BR- do you sneak wine into the game??:idontno: I'm impressed! What is your method of wine transport?
I meant if I watch it on TV.

There are many ways that are undetectable by gate security to transport adult beverages into a game. It was all around us at the GT game last night. I'm not advocating this; I'm just stating that this is easily done. In our case this was unnecessary because we have club seats at GT, and the wine and beer are free in the clubhouse.

Whew- I thought you were breaking the law!!

I was escorted out of the USC stadium - caught with a little bourbon. The police officer asked me to follow him, so I followed him about halfway down the steps, then just turned around and went back up to my seat. He didn't come back after me.:idontno: That would not have been a funn phone call to my parents.

SJ schooled me on these methods a while back. :D

Now that you bring this up, I always wondered why Auburn is both the War Eagles and the Tigers. But then Alabama is the Crimson Tide with an elephant mascot. :idontno:

Please don't try to get the Aubbies to explain it. It is always a rambling speech on how they are really the Plainsmen, officially the Tigers, only yell War Eagle and had a goat mascot at one time too. Just accept it as the nonsense that it is.;-) In contrast, Alabama actually can answer the question of mascot dicotomy in two to three sentences, and it makes sense.

Skunky! I'm gone for ONE DAY! And look what you do!?!?:bang:
