I'm so excited about staying in SoWal the last of October (Oct 28th - Nov 5th). I have been to the RED BAR (My fav) and shopping in Seaside. But that's about it! I usually stay in Destin....but this time I'm staying in Rosemary Beach (I have NEVER been there). Me and 2 of my girlfriends (which by the way...we are all single....:D...we need some FUNN and single men!) LOL!

Anyway....can any of you suggest some fun places to eat.....nightlife and etc? I will take ANY suggestions. neither of my girlfriends have ever been to this area or destin....I want them to have a blast....PLEASE HELP ME! Have a good weekend........Thanks.....D

PS....We are attending the Mountain Film Festival.....BUT we couldn't get SEASIDE WINE FESTIVAL TICKETS (SOLD OUT) :bang: I'm so sad about that! Does anyone know where we could get some tickets?

PSS.....What about Day Spas????? I usually go to Serenity by the Sea...but is there anything closer??

DevishD, I think RiverOtter may be single again after his wife reads his future post, which will read, "Got any pics?" FYI - he isn't single. You girls have funn on your trip, and if you see a stranger, say hello, because chances are, they may be a SoWaller. ;-)
 
hey smiling joe! that was cute about riverotter.....wanting to see pics! why is it that men want to see pics? LOL! thanks for telling me "FYI....he isn't single!"...ha! SORRY RIVEROTTER! :) and joe.....we girls are from TENNESSEE....we ALWAYS say HELLO! we NEVER meet a STRANGER! :)

Y'all should hook up with Smiley J. He's totally hot and so nice.

I would reccomend the following schedule. It always works for us:

Start at the Red Bar after sunset.
Around 10 go to Bud & Alley's. Ask for Mo the bartender. He'll take care of you.
Leave Bud's at 12 and go to 331. Look for DJ Vladi. Where he goes a funn time follows. Leave 331 when they make you leave. If you need a cab take Paradise Taxi.

As for the wine festival, try and slip in there. I'll tell you this much, drink all day the day of the wine festival. Everyone's going to be sloppy drunk (esp. the old people) so it helps to be wasted with them.

Kimmifunn IS THE OFFICIAL SoWaller in this case...take her advice and HAVE FUNN!!!!!
PS...make sure you go into Destin at least once while you are there...always a party going on! :biggrin:
 
There are several threads on spas here, just hit search and type in massage or spas.
Since you are staying in Rosemary you may want to go to Shades at least one night. It is within walking distance and you can par-tay all you want.

what ever you do, you will have funn! South Walton is great!!!

YES....i actually thought the same thing about the wine festival....maybe we could sneak in...LOL! who knows....maybe i'll see you around somewhere! thanks again!

hello allifun....when i have been to destin in the past.....i usually go to aj's and baytowne (the famous door?)......two fun places! anywhere else to go???? YES....i'm a party girl....haha! almost 40 and still having funn! :)
