I caught on to this website today, it allows you to check up on all of the health and safety inspections at your local outings.

I say "Ignorance is Bliss"

Yeah I agree. I just checked on my favorite Chili's location in Athens and it was in the yellow category. But hey, I go there for Presidente Margaritas so, the Tequila and Triple Sec probably kill the germs, right?

Yeah, I'm sure it does.;-) Mmmm, I love Chili's southwest eggrolls.

Ohhh me too. I love chicken crispers with rice and honey mustard sauce--which I pour on the rice.

bsmart, food sanitation grades are not the end all be all. Be careful if they are low, but a great score means nothing. Take for example, the Georgia Bar, which always scored between 99-100. The inspections take place between the hours of 9a-5p, and the GA Bar didn't open until 4pm and rarely had more than 5 customers prior to 5pm, so there wasn't much to screw up.

FYI- by law, you can choose to look at sanitation grades when you walk in the front door of a restaurant. They are required by law to be posted in a conspicuous location for public viewing.

FYI #2 - you may want to avoid eating at the Capt D's on Prince Ave if it is still around. ;-)

HAHAHA yes it is still there on Prince! I saw it is one of the dirtiest restaurants in Athens too. The Wendy's next to it is also, man I love my vanilla Frosties but not that much :puke:

Also, some great restaurants are showing really low scores. The Last Resort Grille, DePalma's and Espresso Royale--my favorite hangout
