It was crazy. I-85 was virtually closed down at the ATL airport due to flooding at the airport exit. It doesn't take a lot of rain to close down that exit -- I've seen it several times. The connector southbound was at a standstill because of the I-85 South problem. So I took I-75 South, I-285 West, and then I-85 South. Even avoiding that traffic problem, it took me two hours and 15 minutes to get home from Northside Hospital (normally it would take an hour less).
Right now? I would wait for a response, but today fried me. I'm going nitey-nite.It is so windy, my house is shaking!!
I got home after work yesterday, after the big line of storms had moved thru (everything looked fine in Blue Mountain) and I started to prepare dinner.
I got a new cookbook at Williams-Sonoma you see, and was ready to try out some new Italian recipies -well half way thru cooking my Pasta al Forno the power went out.
