Jdarg: it is official in this house that next year when both kids are in college and therefore get more Thanksgiving vacation days *****(on a side note, why is it that the more tuition you pay, the more days your kid gets off from school? I'm talking about the college schedule... )***** we are hitting SoWal for Tday day!! I hated missing the Turkey Trott. And I know that turkey on the beach tastes better than anywhere else.

Just got back to LA. Survived another Thanksgiving. Got to see Phead win- they play Hoover again next week. But turning around in less than a month for NYE!:clap_1:

I hear ya. Beach Jacket just got back to Atlanta, Mr. BR left for Australia early this AM and won't be back until Saturday, so I'm bummed out, too. Pepper got mad at both of them (she understands what a rollerbag means) and barked at them and tried to bite them and block them from leaving. Think I'll nap to avoid dealing with the loneliness.

But the good news is that we had a really nice Thanksgiving. We enjoyed being with Mom -- she seemed happy and didn't create any of those angry Alzheimer's scenes. And I'm seeing Beach Jacket on Wednesday since I have a podiatrist appointment (you know, the plantar fasciitis). I think we'll do Houston's -- I'm craving their Ahi tuna salad.

Time for the under-1000-calorie-per-day diet!
