Going it alone in Santa Rosa!

Hi, I will be vacationing for a week by myself down in Santa Rosa June 14-20, and I needed some advice on where to hang out and meet locals and make new friends. I had planned the trip with my boyfriend, but we broke up, and I still want my vacation! So, alas, I will be alone. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Bring one of your girlfriends instead and spend the week enjoying your lack of bum (he wasn't good enough for you)!

I know that there will be friendly locals/Sowallers at Sally's Backside Saturday night, touring the parade of homes, the Rep productions, at Amavida's live music in Seaside, and many other locations.

Drop by the RedBar in Grayton. Eat, drink, and be merry. Get a mani-pedi done in Watercoler or Gulf Place. Fonville Press in Alys beach has a trivia night coming up, maybe that would be a funn place to meet people. No matter what you do, pamper yourself and enjoy. Have a great vacation.

A girl with chutzpa. Enjoy! I went on a vacay by myself once, when I was single, and I had the best time. Check on the calendar down below to see if anything interests you. Cheering's suggestion of the Red Bar was great because you can eat and drink there in a funky atmosphere. Check out some of the places at the Baytowne Wharf. There always seems to be a party going on over there.

I've been to sowal countless times by myself over the years. Its was fun for me. I found sowal while staying in Destin on a solo trip way back in 82.
