Favorite Phrase Your Dog Knows??

New posts
Overachiever Dog of Professor. Sweet Pea also knows, "Go to the beach, git in the truck." "The other truck." She gets confused sometimes.

Cowboy knows a couple of words, "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" That's the main one at his witching hour of 3AM and he starts grooming himself, shakin the bed. :idontno:
LOL. Why do dogs love the beach so much?

My mom's old dog's favorite:

"Are you ready for bed? Let's go!"

Yup, that's one of Rufus' (my avatar) favorites:

"Night-night?"

He'll run straight for the bedroom, and if I stop along the way he'll come back and circle my legs until I follow him. It's his favorite time of day...

awww, mine too. There's just something comforting to have your pup curled up in the crook of your knees, sound asleep.

Sadie has many but one of her favorites is, Let's do Laundry.

She sorts out the socks and brings them to the laundry room.

The Scooterhounds know alot of words - they don't always LISTEN to those words, but they know them.

-Wait there so I can dry your feet off
-Let them go first
-No balls in the house
-Yes, I know I said we'd go for a walk, but I can't find my shoes/coat/your leash/my sunglasses!
-Too far/thank you for waiting (when hiking)
-You're blocking the TV
-They'll be home soon

My shetland sheepdog, Cajun, also gets excited when I say Daddy. He looks at the door leading to the garage and turns his head. But the word is Flyswatter. When he barks, which shetland sheepdogs do alot, I just say, "I'm gonna get the flyswatter," And he puts his head down and stops barking and lays down. I've never hit him with it. He's just afraid of it.:idontno:

He knows hundreds of phrases... but two favorites come to mind. These are two that make him bounce.

Want to go to Hibiscus House for breakfast?

Want to go to Seaside?
