Another great one is Carol King. Her "Tapestry" (let me really date myself here) album was one of my all time favorites. Still is, but now I have it on CD.:clap_1:

Actually, Mahalia Jackson sang some of the best Christmas carols (she isn't the one who sang 'In the morning'. Nina Simone sang 'In the morning' - well worth looking for and downloading if you haven't heard it -- due to be remade by someone soon.

You are correct she has an incredible voice but not one of my favs.
