Are too many of us becoming twits?

Just got the following message on Twitter:

Twitter is over capacity.

Too many tweets! Please wait a moment and try again.

I got pulled in because of our daughter. If I want to find out what's going on with her or how she's feeling, I check Twitter. She HATES talking on the phone. :idontno:

BR, do you tweet? I have people following me, but I have no idea who they are or how they found me. They are following my lack of tweets, that's for certain.

I have found that social media outlets/forums are great for businesses from the respect of free advertisement. You can't beat that tweet!

Rick Bayless tweets.
"GR8 cooking w WH staff yesterday," Bayless tweeted early Wednesday. "Remarkable their organization, knowledge of protocol."
That protocol, by the way, includes no tweets from the White House kitchen.

Nobody wants to talk anymore face to face. It's all about texts, tweets, or facebook. No wonder kids can't communicate. Tweets are for twits.

I can't think of anyone I find so interesting I would want to follow them on Twitter. :idontno:

I do text - it's like sending a quick memo to multiple people. Don't have conversations that way though - that's why I have a phone!

The real tweeting twits are the ones who do so while driving. The other day I was behind someone on my motorcycle who I thought was drunk but, as I pulled along-side to get past her, I realized that her weaving in the lane was because she was trying to drive finding her way from her peripheral vision as she stared down and thumbed her message. I blew my horn to bring her back to reality and the road......I'm sure it didn't last. Knowing there are many others on the road doing the same thing make me, as a motorcyclist, more nervous than words can express.
