Anti-war groups fizzle under Obama

that's profoundddddddd

Your arrogance is much more profound. Always the charmer...

We're all better off for your contributions.

To the more sane and rational among us, war has a very specific purpose and clearly defined goals. To the others, war is a means of expression.

Precisely, they are slowly changing their menu. They now sell oatmeal for breakfast and offer apples instead of fries. Quite a stretch from a dictator using chemical weapons on his own people though. Fast food is a personal choice right?

You could say the same thing about tobacco companies but personal choices should remain personal so long as it doesn't affect others.

Huh? Seriously, could you please elaborate on that point.

War does not determine who is right -- only who is left.

I would agree with that. There are no winners but someone loses more than the other.

Glenda, I fully expected you to label me as disingenious, it's what you do followed with the notion that your ideas are on higher ground. Bottom line you're saying the senseless killing is going to happen so why get involved. We should remain focused solely on ourselves?

I doubt you think anything is worth fighting for so it's pointless to continue this debate. When your words don't win you lose.

You have no idea what I find worth fighting for..or sacrificies my loved ones and I may have made in defense of our country.so please don't assume.

I was not intending to debate, but I agree it is senseless to continue to discuss the point. I am not sure why I bothered, except that I find it insulting to those who have sacrificed in this war, that anyone continues to say we went there for reaons that somehow had merit.

It's more insulting to those that sacrificed to say they did it for nothing. Do You think we went there for the cheap oil?
