I'm only going by the heresay I got from Rita above, but I really want to believe it's true.
 
Maybe we should invade and depose Mubarak? He's a more civilized version of Hussein, but they are still very similar.
 
Why the hell would we need to invade? Are you feeling a lack of Middle East conflicts and deficit spending?

The Egyptian people are speaking up and the Egyptian military is well regarded and on their side.

Mubarak is leaving - doorknob just hasn't hit him in the arse yet.
 
Surely none of you really thought 30ashopper was serious with the "invade" comment? I certainly didn't.
 
Hard to tell - he may not have been serious, but others making similar comments at the time were.

We train, supply, and fund the Egyptian military, invading was never a real option - but not giving them replacement parts or withdrawing funding is.
