My power has been restored. You all would not believe the devastation that is here. It is so sad. I am so thankful and grateful that me, and my family and loved ones are safe. Have friends that have lost homes and loved ones. This has touched all of us in some way. There is such an outpouring of love, volunteers, and help in all the communities that have been affected by this. I am thankful for all of them.

Most of Huntsville is still without power. I live in a little community just South of Huntsville, but I work in Huntsville and I have not worked since last Tuesday. They are saying that maybe this Tuesday power should be restored to most of the city and we will be able to go back to work.

I sure was happy to hear some sweet voices on my cell phone on Friday night. My phone had not rung for two day's. Calls could not get through to me, until my phone rang and I saw "DD". I was so excited. The connection wasn't great but I got to hear her voice, gotothebeachmom's, and Miss Kitty's. Thank you all for calling and checking on me. I sure wish I had been sitting at Bud and Alley's with all of you. Congratulations to Miss Kitty for winning the sunset drink. I think you needed it. ;-)

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Alabama is strong and we will survive this.

I will be there in June and hope to see some of SoWal peeps then. Much love to each of you!
