EXACTLY Kit!! I'm telling you it's not past tense "would have wanted". He has been ALL AROUND us ALL these last few days making sure we keep laughing... TOGETHER! Kit, this IS Greg answering your question "How in Happy Hail are we supposed to go on without you?" He told me 'directly' and he's continuing his teaching/showing us: THIS is exactly how we're supposed to go on without him... Together.

So keep the funnies rolling in.

Because he has said he's not gonna hang around forever because he's got jobs lined up and work to do. We're getting the Life Celebration party details worked out (which I'll post as soon as I can) to his satisfaction... after that we're on our own. But he's giving us a little bit of time to practice.

This is what he'd say about things like his army air service award medals, or differing 'sides' of religious or political arguments...

I never got where this saying came from. Greg was usually right on top of giving credit to the 'original source' of his sayings... but this one is a mystery. He couldn't remember and said "You're the Google Queen! Get after it!!" I've tried w/ no success.

Seagrovegirl, do you have any insights on the source for this?

DuneAhhhh, he has said this quote for as long as I've known him, and that goes back to 1988.
 
I keep going back, trying to remember.....my rememberer is not cooperating.

Another Greg quote: "Adult, what is a dult? God knows we need more dults." The same with Alert. It can go on and on. Who knows where this stuff comes from? It just pours out of Greg effortlessly.

Ed will miss drinking Lukewarm cans of Santa Rosa Beach orange juice at the garden with Greg. For me, I will cherish the rectangular hole in my bumper from his trailer hitch going through it. Greg looked at the hole and said, " Erin I'm real sorry but why do you have to drive such a small car and why did you park it in this big field? Want a beer?"
