Spring Break has Started

New posts
I must disagree with some of you. I went to spring break in Myrtle Beach. We drank way too much on the beach and had a good time. For the most part, we were away from families and only insulted other drunk college kids. But we never, and I mean never, left a mess like that on the beach.

But I guess our parents taught us respect.

We did Spring Break in Panama City and made sure to pick up our empty beer cans every day when leaving the beach. How else were we going to build that giant beer can pyramid in our motel room? Fun is one thing, me driving over empty miniature bottles on 98 and our beaches being trashed is another.

I'm sure you were a perfectly responsible drunk, but somewhere down the beach from you there were others who left a mess just like like what is taking place here. The majority of these kids are well behaved and it's unfair to judge all by the actions of a few.

It seems as if all people post are the BAD things. I'm sure it's going to get crazy over the next few weeks. Just hope everyone stays safe.

That sculpture is way less offensive to me than the Burmese tiger pits the wholesome families will soon be digging and leaving behind. On Sunday there was a big group of college kids right by us (Seagrove near Bramble). They played twangy country music too loud and drank an impressive amount of beer, I would guess about three cases. And when it was time to go, they put ALL their crap in a big bag and hauled it off to the TDC trash can. They missed one can that I think got buried a bit, but no plastic and no holes. I have no problem with that.

Cursing, littering, nudity, and bad manners I can can tolerate, but any type of country music is just over the top and down right rude. They should be drawn and quartered.
