Have you ever needed anyone to provide you with a service that lived North of the Bridge? They may have to add a surcharge (tariff). Hmm$$$I've managed to sit thru about 10 hurricanes, in my life, and never needed to hug the Confederate flag through any of them.
Reminds me of an absolute truth, As Erika (or any storm) approaches, we are ALL in the same boat. Before you disrespect people you might want to consider this.Reminds me of a joke I once heard:
"Florida is the only state where the further North you go, the further South you get."
Misty, they have not yet figured out they live on a barrier Island. They have allowed themselves to believe that they are "above" those in North Walton. If there were a God I wonder what he would think about that! I know, not the person to askWhat people are asking for is respect for what they believe is their heritage and pride to honor their families memories.
I also realize now that "respect" on this board is conducive only to which side of the bridge you happen to live on. People on the south end of the bridge are under the mistaken impression that everyone north of them can only show respect the way SoWal says so. How is that working out for you so far?
I'm glad you know how everyone south of the bay feels. I treat all of my friends that same in Walton county regardless of where they live.
Guess I'll find someone else the next time I have a pine straw emergency.
A zombie smilie would be awesome. And maybe some game of thrones characters.
I do not "know" how everyone South of the bay feels. My posts are directed at those that feel superior in intelligence, morality and social justice. Thank you for reminding me about "generalizations". I apologize to you and anyone else that feels the same way as you. To be specific these are the people who I am directing my thoughts to:I'm glad you know how everyone south of the bay feels. I treat all of my friends that same in Walton county regardless of where they live.
Guess I'll find someone else the next time I have a pine straw emergency.
