Redfish village property values will be dropping fast

New posts
Is the restaurant open?.. I had hoped that Redfish Village would benefit from an excellent restaurant on site with infusion of activity and energy... has always been very low key in that hidden spot in the heart of Blue Mountain Beach. We shall see how it shakes out this year. Hopefully Trebeache' folks, who are ALL great folks, will tone it down a tad and be good neighbors.
They are not "great FOLKS" if they are not good neighbors. They will be good neighbors only if they respect the right of their neighbors to a peaceful enjoyment of their properties. Sounds like from the other comments the "great folks" will have to turn it down a lot more than a "tad". Same problem exists in Gulf Place with LaPlaya. Excruciating amplified noise from the bands there in a predominantly residential neighborhood. The owners there care nothing about their neighbors. They are only interested in selling the booze in order to stay open. They have made that area a loud, noisy, vulgar jute joint atmosphere. You have to care about your neighbors as much as you care about yourself. Doesn't sound like either of these bars are willing to do that.

In my world, prices for such prices for such properties would be skyrocketing!

This area has always been known as a resort area

re·sort
rəˈzôrt/
noun
  1. 1.
a place that is a popular destination for vacations or recreation, or which is frequented for a particular purpose.
    "a seaside resort"
synonyms: vacation spot, tourist center, vacationland; More

I believe that the "resort" comment refers to the fact that this area has been classified as a "resort" area for many years. This type of establishment is the norm for most "resort" areas. While many "retirement" or "residential" communities dont favor this type of establishment. I think it is another example of someone not researching exactly WHERE there were moving (other than its close to 30A and we can afford it) before spending their life savings and moving into an area that isnt completely in line with their conception of what the "30A lifestyle" is really all about. This area has ALWAYS been full of bars and music and partying.....research WHERE you are moving to and who and what the neighbors are......dont move down here and think that just because you are "retiring" here that everybody else is.

If you're retired, you can sleep whenever you want, so you don't have to go to bed before 4 am. Rock out and quit being a killjoy. Just a suggestion.
