I'm torn between thinking that his disparaging attitude towards the 17 intelligence agencies assessment of the Russian involvement in our election is all about just his damaged ego, or whether he is salivating about the trillion dollar oil deals he is hoping to make with his lover buddy Putin. Either way, it doesn't seem like our best interests are front and center in his brain.

Had a conservative friend spend a couple of nights with us this week. We rarely discuss politics so I was surprised when he brought up the subject at dinner. He stated he voted for Trump but now believes it was a mistake due to his Twitter rants and petty childish behavior. My only reply was that the warning signs were there and repeated something I had read that said he like many believed the worst rumors about Hilllary and ignored the worst facts about Trump.

Someone on MSNBC made the point that his when he becomes President, his Twitter tantrums will become official US policy statements, if they aren't already. So just think, our national image is projected on the world by a man-child who can't keep his hurt feelings to himself. I don't see how that's going to help him win the love of the short little ex KGB agent.

I never in my life thought I would be rooting for John McCain and Lindsey Graham to step up and be the voice of reason.

Republicans are trying to rush hearings on Trump's nominees before they are properly vetted. The party who complains (falsely) about refugees not being vetted have no problem with unvetted individuals running the country.

Trump claims there is a shortage of dresses available for inaugural balls which like most Trump claims is a lie. What there is a shortage of for the inauguration is white robes and hoods.

It's after Labor Day, so they should dispense with the white and wear seasonal appropriate colors, unless they want to look stupid.

Your staff have asked me to sing at your inauguration, a simple Internet search would show I think you're a tyrant. Bye
Charlotte Church answer to Trump's request to perform at inauguration.

“So it’s different now because it’s Trump?” we asked.

“That’s just right,” Inhofe said.

“That’s right?” we asked to clarify.

“Yeah,” he said.

When a journalist asked Sen. Inhofe on Monday night if this same standard of disclosing foreign payments should apply to Trump’s Cabinet nominees, he said it shouldn’t.
