No, if Biden and Clinton ran against each other, it might have been very awkward. They might have destroyed each other. Sure, if Hillary had dropped out of the race and left it to Biden. The smart person living in a reality based existence realized that was never going to happen and also realized that the best way to avoid our current crisis was to vote for Clinton regardless of her checkered past. If you think Trump is the worst possible outcome and you didn't vote for Clinton, then you are a moron.

Pointless conversation. Donald didn't win, Hilary lost. Ideal candidates? That is a small field, Dems, Corey Booker, Bloomberg, Joe, Michelle, Julian Castro, Warren. Pubs if Donny doesn't run, Pence, Ryan, Tom Cotton, Rubio.

What makes a good candidate -- A real plan based on facts. The ability to bring the parties together as much as possible for a greater good. Someone who will get rid of lobbyists. Someone who supports small business and will tighten the tax code and not allow companies like Apple make a majority of their cash here, but be an Irish company to avoid taxes. Someone who can maybe figure out national Healthcare and a flat tax,

It isn't Hilary, it likely won't be Trump, maybe we will get much wiser in 2020.
