South Walton Business Owner was beaten. Sheriff try to brush it under the rug.

Kindall was in her Gulf Place hair salon. Her ex-employee comes in with her husband and they are angry because of the previous firing. They begin taking things that don’t belong to them, appointment book, security cameras etc. Kindall tries to make a 911 call and the phone is destroyed. She then gets to her cell phone, gets 911 on the line, and then the phone is thrown on the floor. 911 is on the line and there is that brief recording. The husband then holds Kindal while his wife beats her in the face. Thankfully, they stop and when they leave, other shop owners see them. Sheriff says not enough evidence for an arrest.
Oh and the couple that did this are ex cops.

So SoWal, are we going to do anything? Are we going to be like Hollywood and look away, pretend? Would this be more effective had Kindal been raped or killed? Because she was thinking they would kill her. I submit that no one wants to learn the hard way. But damnit, there are more posts about Customary Use and fiscal 30a! Then how about this: no one will want to vacation on 30A because of dereliction of duties of the Sheriff.
