I agree with you on this, and I'd wager most politicians do, too, but when you have new young politicans like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez becoming the face of the party it doesn't help. She's so far left she makes Bernie Sanders look like Sean Hannity. My guess is that after she has officially taken office more experienced members will pull her aside and coach her.

I don't think the party is as far to the left as it seems, but all the attention is on the few who are. They have a bit of an image problem that doesn't help their cause.
Is this image problem any worse that the image problem of the Republican Party that is enabling a pathological liar to make the United States the laughing stock of the entire world? Just asking for a friend. The leader of the free world is covering up a vicious murder in order make sure an arms deal goes through with a country that was extremely complicit in the 9-11 attack. Again, just asking for a friend.

Trump's image is perfect in the eyes of his likely voters. His support base is resolute. That does not reflect favorably on their morals, character, and values.

Will makes a fair point, but where did the moderate democratic candidate get them in the last presidential election? The problem with the left right now is that while the majority of voters are moderates, there are too many uncompromising far left progressive purists who are unwilling to settle for anything less than a far left democratic socialist candidate. They are more likely to sit out an election than vote for the moderate democrat, but their votes are needed in order to swing the balance in favor of the democratic candidate. This is particularly true in light of the fact that the electoral college favors more rural conservative states [edit]. Maybe some of the no-shows have learned their lesson. It's good to see Ocasio-Cortez is supporting Pelosi. I'm sure some uber progressive feels betrayed.

I dont think you all understand Trumps base at all. You call them hateful things. Racist, mysoginist even cucks for crying out loud. There are definately things that are imperfect about Trump. Far from perfect in fact. Nobody I knows denies that. His base is resolute in that they were fed up with the staus quo. A well polished cadidate is not relatable to the blue-collar and "rust belt" Republican. Just ask Romney or robot Gore. Have a beer and shoot the s**t is relatable (granted Trump doesn't drink). Unlike someone of the Pelosi or Hillary ilk, Ocasio-Cortez is relateable to the millenial voter. She portray's something that is not the status quo in congress. She happens to tweet alot too btw. Her Pelosi "endorsement" came with the caveat of her being the most progressive candidate running for Speaker.

So you are saying that the average Trump supporter can relate to a guy that was a millionaire when he was eight years old? That’s a bit much. The average Trump supporter is basically stupid to believe this amount of Fox-wash. The other class of Trump supporters think they are going to get rich on his coattails. Both classes have no moral compass.

It's a concession to Pelosi, pure and simple.

We understand you perfectly. You cheer him on as you watch him screw the country. Being a Saudi and and Russian bit*h isn’t America first. Cuck is a perfect fit for Trumpers.
