This is law enforcement doing the right thing after building their case. Same thing with the espionage case. The timing is determined by the probable cause affidavit being presented and accepted, and national security concerns. You should try looking at events without seeing them through this left-right political lens. Many, many people in this world do things out of a sense of duty and because it's the right thing to do. Of course, this is a fairly democratic way of thinking, so maybe you just can't grasp it.
