We have year round work . These positions require physically fit people with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs repetitively. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a Carpet Cleaner and or a Water Fire Mold Technician.
A Cleaning Technician and a Restoration Expert that provides exceptional customer service can learn career skills and earn in excess of $15 hour. We are also a full service residential and commercial disaster restoration firm, in need of your solid water, fire, and mold project management experience
All Candidate requires neat appearance, great attitude, good hospitality and customer service skills
Additional Requirements
Polite with experience working in a customer service environment
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
Must be a team player and be able to work independently with little supervision
Must have Reliable transportation and good driving record but we provide work vehicle
Construction and Maintenance knowledge is a plus
IICRC certified a plus
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to drive or ride in a cleaning van or other vehicle. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Description of basic cleaning job.
Job Duties (including but not limited to):
To assist the Crew Chief in all duties necessary to provide quality carpet and upholstery cleaning; or tile and grout cleaning.
Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures.
Productively and safely move furniture to prepare the home for cleaning.
Assist in cleaning when Crew Chief is performing other job responsibilities.
Apply protection and deodorizers; or agents and color seal to carpet and furniture or tile and grout. Wipe all baseboards.
finish out carpeting (rake) after cleaning and other services.
Account for and return all cleaning tools and cleaning agents, hoses, chemicals, etc. to the truck before departure from the customer’s home.
Clean vehicle at end of each day.
Proper inventory of blocks, pads, spotting agents and retail items on truck.
Inform customers about and sell retail items.
Uphold all company safety policies.
Assist in backing of van using proper backing procedure.
Uphold all company polices and procedures.
Description for a basic restoration job
have Moisture reading, Mapper, and setup experience
Communicate with the homeowner and secure contract for the project
Perform initial inspection and scope the work to be performed (water, fire, mold, etc.)
Determine the course of action and perform any construction demolition and structural drying per IICRC standards and industry best practice
Remove and dispose of any non-salvageable items as needed and/or authorized by owner/management/insurance company
Setup drying equipment per IICRC standards and/or moisture mapping software
Prepare all documentation pertaining to the loss (contracts, pictures, sketching, daily reports, etc.)
Document work in project management and moisture mapping software
Participate in after-hours call rotation
Drive and operate company van
Move drying equipment and other items from job site to warehouse as needed
Qualifications/Skills:
Restoration experience and IICRC certification preferred
Possess the ability to communicate effectively with others both written and verbally
Ability to work for long periods of time in extreme temperatures both hot and cold
Ability to work in an environment that has suffered fire, water and wind damage
Ability to perform service calls after-hours and during inclement weather
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Possess valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
Pass a background check ,
