Beach Comber
Walking on the beach near Spooky Lane this AM I came upon a creature about 13 inches long, dead, gray-olive in color, near a hole in the sand just above the surf line. Found it again this evening, still intact, and think it looks like an Asian Swamp Eel after an on-line search. Lots of pics on-line, and evidently it is an invasive species in Florida.
