Four Winds Health has an open position in the billing department for a Billing Helpline/Soft Collections Specialist. Our office is located in Santa Rosa Beach, FL on Hwy 30A. (See address at the bottom of this message.) We operate a group of WellStreet Urgent Care facilities in the Atlanta, GA area.
We are interested in a dependable, productive, and motivated person possessing the desire and ability to field the billing helpline patient phone calls in a fast-paced start-up environment. In addition, the applicant should possess the ability to conduct soft collection calls to patients with outstanding balances.
Qualities needed for this position:
-Knowledge of insurance payers, insurance verification, AR/revenue billing lifecycle, and appealing denied claims
-Strong computer skills
-Detail-oriented team player
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent telephone communication skills
-Urgent Care billing experience is preferred
The job description includes:
-Fielding the billing helpline phone calls
-Answering patients' questions regarding their bills, taking patient payments over the phone, etc.
-Conducting soft collection phone calls to patients with outstanding balances
-Working with Revenue Cycle Management to identify and resolve issues related to billing, coding, and the billing system and process flow
-Assisting the billing department with miscellanous tasks to help increase efficiency & productivity
