We have a family from Butler that needs our help!
Jamie Cantu is an active parent at Butler, with a child in Kindergarten and 2 younger girls as well. Her second oldest daughter, Rylee, has a rare blood disorder; Chronic Neutropenia.
Jamie & family have organized 2 car washes to be held this Saturday, May 31st, at People's First in Destin (9am) and Niceville (8am). The Destin location will be having a cookout as well; with food donated from People's First.
The money raised from the washes will be used for medical and travel expenses, and any help is greatly appreciated.
Jamie has also said that donations for the car wash would also help; buckets, rags to wash & dry, signs, help washing cars, etc...
There is also an account set up at People's First Community Bank; Rylee Cantu Benefit Fund.
Here is a site created by Jamie: http://ryleecan.blogspot.com/
Jamie & Roland Cantu's phone # is 267-2310 if you have any questions, or would like to contact them to donate supplies for the car wash.
Thanks for letting me post this, and for passing the info on to others.
