ANNOUNCEMENT:

[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]For the first time, the FWB Jaycees wants you to design the artwork that we will feature with our next Haunted House (2009). Let us award you for your artistic talent as this artwork will be seen in our advertisements, (posters, flyers and billboards), our advanced tickets, discount coupons and collectable T-shirts. [/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]Your original artwork is due September 7th, 2009. [/FONT][SIZE=+0]Anyone can enter. [/SIZE]
Contest Rules:
1. Subject matter of each entry must be zombie related (2009 only).
2. Entries must be original, hand-produced, flat works of art. No electronic reproductions, tracings, or computer-graphic art. Black and white design only. (Intended for black T-shirts)
3. Entries must be unsigned and have no words in the design. (We have our own words.)
4. Nothing that cannot be viewed by general audiences. This artwork is for advertising to the general public, so preference will be given to scary but not to gross or offensive images.
5. Maximum size of artwork is 9" x 12", not including matting. (note there is no minimum size) Entries must be submitted flat or rolled, not folded.
6. Entries must have the following contact information printed or securely affixed to the back: artist name, telephone and (if possible) email address.
7. Entries must be delivered by September 7, 2009. Mail or hand deliver to: FWB Jaycees Poster Art Contest, Attention: Nick Holt, 318 Ohio Ave. Valpariaso, FL 32580 phone: 850-305-3106
8. By entering, the artist gives Fort Walton Beach Jaycees, Inc. permission to use their artwork for promotional purposes, and if selected as the winner the artist cannot sell this artwork to any other entity, but can still use their image for their own purposes.
9. There will be only one winner of the 2009 Haunted House Poster Art Contest selected by the Fort Walton Beach Jaycees Members Judging Committee. Decision of the Judging Committee is final. The winner will be notified as soon as possible after selection. No other notices will be given.
Contest Prizes:
The Winner will receive ....
1. a $50 U.S. Savings Bond.
2. acknowlegment as the artist.
3. one Jaycees 2009 Haunted House T-Shirt.
4. passes for two to the 2009 Haunted House.
5. an honorary 2010 membership in the Fort Walton Beach Jaycees.
