And where do all the people currently employed by these departments go?

They go out and get real jobs.

As for health insurance, Blue Cross will take good care of me. They don't have any choice now, remember?

Where do the overpaid gov't workers go when they lose their jobs? They will have to actually work in the private sector like the rest of us.
