Britain goes coal free as fossil fuels edged out
Britain is about to pass a significant landmark - at midnight on Wednesday it will have gone two full months without burning coal to generate power.
This blew my mind. The USA used to be at the forefront of new technology and energy, Kudos to Britain and other smart countries. It is sad how we not only have fallen behind but can't be forward thinking in the current political situation.
I know people want good jobs and want to be healthy. Until lobby laws change I don't have much hope for the future. The people we put in charge of our laws are the people who are profiting. Makes no sense. Can the foxes be thrown out of the hen house or did they eat all the hens already?
