Cuties!

[BeachBebe]

That is cute. Are those your dogs?

Here are three of four dogs that were the stars of the show in Seaside this evening. I think the other one was barking at a lap dog on the other side of the truck.

Not mine. Their mom is a photographer. Love the Saint Bernards. These three cuties belong to my neice.

That is drool.

ok, I'm nauseus

So you saw them in person?

Yep, and smelled them in person too. Their owner said they were rescued and very weak, hairless and scrawny when they got them. His wife nursed them back to health. They now each have a job and work about eleven farms each day. That was like 1,000 pounds of dog in that truckbed!

Job? Explain please.

Job? Explain please.

I thought a St. Bernard's job was to carry whiskey in a little barrel tied to it's collar.

I'm sure you are right. I guessed those four dogs to weigh a solid 200# each, and probably a little more. My second thought after seeing them was regarding the amount of food they must eat. My two scroney 80# dogs who mostly sit around the house, eat quite a bit. On occasion, when I go to the grocery store, a clerk will ask, "What? No dog food today?" I bet those dogs' food costs a fortune.

Not real sure, but he said each dog had been trained for a certain job, like cattle herding.

[Rudyjohn]

Like Border Collies.

 Wow! I bet they're happier and probably healthier working.
