Hubby says that the Australian press is reporting that the price of bananas will go from $2 per pound to $12 per pound (in U.S. dollars) as a result of the cyclone.
Heck, I don't buy bananas any more because the day after I buy them, they have that nasty, over-ripe taste. They can take the $12 a pound and shove it. Picture that ... bananas.
