[FONT="]Let's go ahead and announce one of the three artists scheduled to perform during Countdown Seaside!, our New Year's Eve event! We are thrilled to welcome The David Mayfield Parade as they Visit South Walton and 30A to help us ring in 2012. At The Avett Brothers' insistence this Grammy-nominated musician and producer started his own project, The David Mayfield Parade. David is a natural frontman with a lot of versatility and a tremendous gift and the band's new album, The Parade, is a list of 11 songs with an AM rock and vintage country sound and touches of pop and soul. His James Taylor-like vocals bring a sense of familiarity and comfort to every song on the record, whether Mayfield is singing a Buddy Holly-style rock number or as the rootsy rocker with The Avett Brothers, he delivers each song with extraordinary charm, personality and craft.
