Ok Pea to the Pod. We're going to give you your test run in January. Don't you worry.

Mermaid is going to get broken in over New Year's though. We go hard the entire week. By the end of the week none of us have voices so it's quite the show.

Last year we capped it off with a trip to the Sugar Bowl. Unfortunately since it's not in New Orleans, Auburn decided to not waste the time to play in ATL. Can't blame them. I wouldn't go to Atlanta for the Sugar Bowl.

Has anybody ever tried Silk Nog mixed with whiskey? Same flavor as regular nog, but it's not as thick. That's my fave holiday drink! (or mixed with rum)

Rum and diet for me....yes I know thats pretty boring :roll: I really am a beer girl, had some very cute little seven ounce bud selects over the weekend :clap_1: and a good glass of wine can't be beat!!!!!! ;-)

I have a great recipe for a coastal holiday drink --

-- A scoop of vanilla ice cream
-- A shot of spiced rum
-- Fill the glass with egg nog
Toss in a blender. Grate a little nutmeg on top if you are feeling cha-cha.

I'm not a nog fan, but this is really good...sort of boat drink meets Christmas.


Oh, and last Mardi Gras one of the papers in NOLA ran a recipe for a hangover cure from an unnamed doctor...it works if you do take it before going to bed:

One Aleve or Advil (not Tylenol)
One benedryl
One shot of Pepto
Big glass of water
