Fishing Licenses now available

[John]

One more reason to avoid the multi-hour trip to WallyMart;
we finally got set up to sell hunting and fishing licenses at our Seagrove store.

Thanks to you all for your continued support,

Are they the same price?

Good question, Florida Girl. We charge the basic prices, with no "Convenience Fee" added. I don't have the price list with me, but I'll post them later if anyone is interested.

Cool! I always get the combo Salt/Fresh license. I like to take business away from Wal mart as much as I can!

Was that a get the thread going question? Or if the licenses were $10 more than those at Wal-mart would you then not buy the licenses from here?

That just BITES! No pun intended:angry:.... I just bought mine today after waiting and waiting... Yup Wally World... Dang I hate that! I put $33.00 into the septic tank of retail. Well next year! You can count on that.. Where and what is your store, Maybe the wife and I can spend some time there and support you as a local Biz!

If the $33.00 you spent was on the fishing license, then you put that into the conservation efforts of the FWC on behalf of the sportsmen and women of Florida. Wal-Mart, or any other seller of licenses, does not profit from the sale, unless they add a convenience fee. The only place I've seen that does add a fee is the online vendor for the state.

Thanks. We are located next to the old Wheelhouse Restaurant. We're finally getting a website. So far, it's just a static "billboard" but soon we will be selling kayaks and clothing from the site.
