For fans of 70's music

New posts
i like the poster art ! saw a guy on tv once who collected these things, some of the originals are worth megabucks - to the right collector of course

Yeah I sure wish I'd saved more stuff from that time.
Too much moving from place to place. My posters kind of bit the dust.
I do have a short stack of the very first few Rolling Stone magazines, a couple small Grateful Dead posters, some Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers comics, and several bootleg albums on vinyl.
I probably couldn't part with that junk anyway, but maybe that will be my kids' inheritance. ;-)

I saw a show on this, the guy purchased the Bill's business, and found this warehouse FULL of all this great stuff.

He truly has a treasure

A blast from the past! I have so much of that stuff from the 70's. Lots of albums and nothing to play them on. Some of it belonged to the ex-husband and he never wanted to come get it so I've held onto it for years. I even have some 8 tracks. What am I gonna do with those things?

Man oh man, time just slips out from underneath. Weird to think that Pearl Jam and Nirvana are considered to be "vintage" bands. (Although I do have to admit that P.Jam does sound kind of dated to me these days, in a way that Nirvana doesn't. Funny how some bands age better than others.)

Going through those photos made me really miss Kurt Cobain.

Yeah, Cobain had that special something, didn't he.
I hope he is at peace now.
I still have my turntable. No 8-tracks though. ;-)

we actually bought a turntable last year, and my hubby has been recording some of our old albums on cd because they are no longer available. what lucky kids you have cil to inherit cool stuff - we get beanie babies ..:(
