...beach, beach, the beach is back!!

Well, for now anyway. the beach it come, the beach it go, but in our little corner of seacrest, the beach is as wide as I've seen it in a long while. See snapshots below, taken from the Walton Gulfview/Camp Creek Cottages access at high tide. Water was clear too. I've learned to accept the shifting sands as part of the beauty, but I have to admit to one or two tears when I saw how fast the beach is rebuilding itself. Big difference from a month ago, when it was much thinner. Dunes have a long row to hoe before they're healed, but it's a start.

Beautiful~!

...and Elton is my all time fav!...

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Katie Blue. I, too, am trying to take the high-ground and accept Mother Nature in all her beauty before and after storms. But, seeing that photo makes me a bit teary, too. I'll be there with friends in November, and it will be great if the beach continues to develop so nicely.
