"Taken out of context, these few seconds would seem deceptive," says Jon Bershad at Mediaite. But earlier in the program, O?Reilly had clearly identified the featured videos as coming from "all over the country," not just Madison. Even though Tobin was discussing Wisconsin when the footage was played, such video integration is standard practice. None of this should be controversial; it's all just a "reminder of the importance of context."

Just for the record...

O'Reilly = paid opinion entertainment
O'Reilly does not equal factual reporting

His job is to stir the pot.

I have coffee in bed in the morning and surf several news stations in an attempt to get a rounded view of world events.

Fox has gotten so bad in the last couple months that I find myself turning the station as soon as I get the first whiff of their opinion being injected into a story. I can't stomach the obvious slant.

CNN was doing this just prior to Fox being so obvious. I wish they'd just report what they see and let us make our own judgements from the information. I can't take Robin Meade at all any more and don't turn that channel on period.

I like MSNBC and CBS. Good Morning America comes across as unbiased to me.

Any others seem to report from the middle?
