Walton County Public Works is requesting setting the first public hearing on the Habitat Conservation Plan for August 10. The county commissioners will have to OK setting that hearing at their meeting next week on July 13.

Walton County Public Works is requesting setting the first public hearing on the Habitat Conservation Plan for August 10. The county commissioners will have to OK setting that hearing at their meeting next week on July 13.

The commissioners did approve setting the August 10 public hearing for the HCP. A draft of the HCP (draft 2) is available on the county Web site under "Your Government","Environmental Resources", and "Habitat Conservation Plan".
