Happy Easter everyone!!

My happiest Easter ever was on our daughter's first Easter. The second happiest was today. A year ago we were told that Mom would die any minute, and she was put in hospice and taken off all of her meds. Our daughter flatly said, "NO! WE ARE NOT GIVING UP ON NANNY!" Just a few months ago Mom was incapable of carrying on a conversation. Now she has improved so much that not only was she able to leave the nursing home to go to lunch with us in Buckhead today, but she is well enough that we are moving her back to her home (with 24/7 help, of course). Praise the Lord!

Thanks everybody.

I got up Sunday morning to the most horrendous singing White people seem to belt out this time of year. Seriously, me and dad didn't give everybody the gift of song, if we didn't don't feel compelled. Just lipsync, it worked for Milie Vanillie.

We sang "He Arose," "Christ the Lord is Risen Today," and our former music minister's favorite (not), "Up From the Gravy, a Rose."

All kidding aside, we felt on Easter as though Mom has risen from the dead. A perfect Easter.

Glad so many had a wonderful Easter. Our service was very meaningful and then time with family for dinner was special. I had missed that You-tube last year, so enjoyed it today. Thanks for the smile. That's terrific about your Mom, BR.
