Interesting. Castro needs the support of a fat cat like the defunct USSR. Little island countries are barely self-sufficient to begin with in a free market economy. Did it take him 20 years to realize the system is not groovy......particularly without tourism $$ from the USA? A physician in Cuba makes about $1,000US/year. Talk about repression!
