Good morning everyone. I am a Hoosier Mom and wife, and the designated vacation planner for our family of 3 twenty-somethings and their significant others. I am looking into renting at one of the beautiful beaches of South Walton, but am not sure which beach area suits our needs best....I'm hoping to glean knowledge from this forum that will help in my decision. There are so many choices along South Walton's 26 miles of beach as well as our coastal dune lakes, coastal uplands and along the bay. Just depends on what you want. There are large resorts to small independent rental opportunities. Do you want an experience that is more remote or in the middle of all the action? There are a number of rental agencies as well as the major resorts for you to check out. After your first stay, you might discover new interests you've never considered and switch where you stay from year to year. Others settle in and rent from the same place year after year.
