How did this not make the local news?

New posts
It's local if you live in Dfunk. It was in Daily News and WZEP. Thankfully stupid crime reports don't happen very often around here it's one of the great things about living here. People are more interested in turtles.

A Defuniak Springs man logged his 32nd arrest in Florida after a traffic stop Monday.

Walton County Sheriff's Office stopped 33-year-old Willie Goldsmith in the area of U.S. Highway 331 for driving on a suspended license, according to a press release.

During the stop deputies, Nick Bearden and Phillip Gaither, searched the vehicle after a positive K9 alert and found a Red Bull can under the center console, which appeared to be unopened.

Bearden unscrewed the lid of the can and found 4.6 grams of ICE, a form of methamphetamine, and 5.3 grams of marijuana. Also inside the can was a stainless steel spoon with white crystal residue along with several small bags used to distribute drugs.

WCSO had probable cause to believe Goldsmith was intending to sell or distribute the drugs. He was arrested for possession of methamphetamines and intent to sell or distribute, marijuana distribution and possession of paraphernalia to transport drugs.

According to his arrest report, he has been unemployed since 2006.

This is Goldsmith's 32nd arrest in the state of Florida, according to the press release from the WCSO.
Other arresting agencies include Pensacola Police Department, Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, DeFuniak Springs Police Department, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and Walton County Sheriff's Office.

I'm guessing that he had this conversation more than a few times...

Parole Board chairman: They've got a name for people like you H.I. That name is called "recidivism."
Parole Board member: Repeat offender!
Parole Board chairman: Not a pretty name, is it H.I.?
H.I.: No, sir. That's one bonehead name, but that ain't me any more.
Parole Board chairman: You're not just telling us what we want to hear?
H.I.: No, sir, no way.
Parole Board member: 'Cause we just want to hear the truth.
H.I.: Well, then I guess I am telling you what you want to hear.
Parole Board chairman: Boy, didn't we just tell you not to do that?
H.I.: Yes, sir.
Parole Board chairman: Okay, then.

that is a fairly high age to crime ratio. If you are say 214 years old and have that many incidents then maybe there would be some room for consideration, but when you are in this case I think 33, you would have to ask yourself.......If my **** got stolen in Dfunf a few weeks ago who could it possibly be? How do you get caught that many times?? Find another career, apparently crime doesn't pay for you. 32x caught, equals no booty, makes you a really ****ty pirate.
