So you are looking for a rental property? You want to know what’s out there? You want to know why no Realtors have them on their sites? You want to know why no Realtors will help you? Here is the secret…… For the most part, Realtors who list rental properties do not pay a referral fee to other agents. If they do it’s a small amount (no more than $100). When you live in an area where the average sale is $800,000 most Realtors are not willing to even list rental properties. Think about this…… You average sale is 800k x 3% = that’s about $25,000. You average rental in 30A is about $2,000. That’s the math.

DID I MENTION THEY WANT TO BE ASSURED YOU CAN PAY YOUR RENT? You have to prove to someone who you are better than the next guy. Remember this: Who you are today is not who you are. It is simply the residual effect of who you were yesterday. The only question is who will you be tomorrow.
