IBD--did you see Mickey?

New posts
NO, no Mickey. It was a rushed trip, you cant do Disney in a day... :floor:

We did a half day at Disney World, for little IBD, she loved it, as usual. The lines were not toooooooo long. I am STILL hearing its a small world in my head...:bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :floor: :floor: :floor:

The second half we went to Epcot. It was the food and wind festival. Big mistake (not really) there were 26 different booths representing countries from around the world. At each booth there were 2 "main items' and 1 dessert item that you could purchase. ($2-$5.) Also at every booth there was several selections of some sort of alcohol for you to purchase as well....    Needless to say in 2 hours I had, champagne, white wine, red wine, beer, Grand Mariner daq, Kettle one lemon daq. and a quadrupuled layered margarita (frozen) I think I had some food as well.

THe flight was good both ways, I tried to take a picture of Grayton from the plane but I have not checked to see if it turned out.

Sounds like you did a lot for one day! Did little IBD get to see the princess show outside the castle?

no, (am i a bad mom?? ) we really did have to pick and choose this trip and little IBD understood that. We bought a 3 day resident pass and will probably go back in early December (my favorite month there) for 2 days. We have seen that show in the past and it is really good. Little IBD loves the princesses and this show is the best way to see them all...

You are not a bad mom! You are luckeee to live sorta close...we always have to cram everything in! I'm sure she loved visiting all the countries in Epcot. I have a picture of my daughter when she was in first grade painting a picture in Paris. It's one of my favorite pictures and memories.

Oh wow- we were at Epcot during the Food & WIne last year. Made a vow to some time go back without kids- the grownups without kids in tow were having way too much fun!

But it sounds like IBD managed just fine!!:clap_1:
