I just got back from a run to Publix and the Memorial Day influx is already underway. There was a little traffic backup at 30A/395. And lots of folks loading up on groceries in Publix.

Bring it on! We're glad to see you here.

A splendid crowd in the Watercolor Publix when I stopped in for my almost nightly visit about 7 pm. Steve Myers was bagging groceries if that's a clue. Followed quite a train of cars down 331 to get home from work this evening. Looks like it's going to be a great Memorial Day weekend! Let's hope it keeps up for a great season and the oil stays away.

I just love shopping at our WaterColor Publix. Haven't had time to post before now, but was surprised by the early action on Friday morning. Thought I was sneaking just a little ahead of the crowd, but Publix was already slammed. Was treated to Brian being the cashier -- with a smile. Did anyone else get to take advantage of the fried chicken 8 pack for $3.99. What a deal. Digressing, but speaking of traffic, I've never seen 30A so packed. Every beach access is full, parking lots are over flowing and cars are parked east and west, north and south. Venues are all busy, busy. Glad to be home and in pjs. Hope all the tourists have fun out there tonight.

Here's my latest shopping list by aisle for the Seagrove Publix. I made a slight change to it in March. This assumes that Publix hasn't changed its layout recently like it, Kroger, and WalMart have done here in GA.

At the Publix here I asked for a list with the new layout. They had it arranged in alphabetical order instead of aisle order.

We were at Crab Island yesterday afternoon with a ton of folks and that was after it rained and a lot of them left. Mr SS said their condos were full or very close . There were a lot of lines into restaurants , people everywhere on the beach road, walking, riding, lots of folks are here! Glad to see it so busy! Oh, and Publix at GB at 8:30 in the morning yesterday was packed!

:welcome: everyone!

Once again, Beach Runner, thank you for this public service. Now everyone can get in, get out, and get on the beach.

Record numbers of calls through the weekend. Record numbers carried. More then 1100 people used Paradise Taxi through Monday am this weekend.

This is great for all the local businesses! Glad peeps are here enjoying our beautiful coast.
