Kimmi, you met my nephew at Snapperheads the other night! He works at Sun Dog Books at Seaside. He was really surprised when I told him we know you, because he kinda thinks we live on the moon or something. My other nephew, his younger bro, is living in New York now. He works as a department manager at Cheap Jack's vintage clothing store near Union Square and is living in Brooklyn. He wants to move into Manhattan, of course.

Also, did you know that Trader Joe's is opening a new store on 14th Street/Union Square? It is fabulous. They have been in CA for years and we couldn't do without them. They're billed as upscale food stores for well traveled people on low budgets. (Don't drink Two-buck Chuck, however, their swill mainstay. Life is too short to drink cheap wine. :puke: )

Wait...I wasn't in Sowal...could it have been Jessi or Whitey? Or could it have been over NYE? That's really funny either way!

I totally know where Cheap Jack's is! Love it! :clap_1: Where in Brooklyn is he? I never go out there- but should go out.

I'm so pumped about Trader Joe's! It's actually reasonably close to my apt. A grocery store on Bleecker just closed so I'm holding my breath for maybe a 2nd Manhattan location. :idontno:

He wishes he was as hot as me.

Kimmi, he probably met you over New Year's. I'm sure it was you, because he described you and said you worked for Macy's in New York.

My nephew is living with roomies in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn. I think he would prefer Manhattan or DUMBO, but he has a great situation where he is in terms of his friends and the rent, is also on a very convenient subway line to get into the City for work and funn. He is meeting all kinds of glam gals, actresses and design people, and having a great time exploring the City. If you see a guy at Cheap Jack's who looks a lot like Justin Timberlake (he would barf at this, mind you), go up and introduce yourself as a friend of his Beach Aunt!

Wait...that's crazy. Who is your nephew...If I met him at Snapperhead's it must have been late. Jog my memory...it's coming back a little bit. Does he have dark hair?

Brooklyn is so cool right now. I have a co-worker seeing a Brooklnyite and she couldn't stop going on and on about the size and the neigborhood that is apartment was in.

I'll have to stop in and say hi! What's his name?
