we had a chinese place downtown here that everyone raved about, until they found a hundred or so cat carcasses behind the place. true story - they were closed down immediately !

My husband and I were talking about this yesterday. As you may know, the Chinese eat dogs. However, dogs are also becoming more popular as pets there. He read that since this is The Year of the Dog, the Chinese are going to ban the use of dogs for food.

We were saying that it's really what you're used to. I mean, I'll bet the Chinese don't eat pickled pigs feet, but my dad always had a jar in the refrigerator. I'd hide it behind something so that I wouldn't get nauseated every time I open the fridge door.
