From the look on his little face, he may decide not to have a side of "greens" with his serving of dirt ;-) ...what a cutie he is! Mom to the rescue soon, I hope.

He is too cute. Unfortunately, most kids that age tend to want to taste different things they shouldn't. I had to battle mine all the time to keep him from pulling fuzz off of the carpet when he was little. Right into his mouth it would go. I was forever removing fuzz out of his mouth. I believe they call it Pica.

Pica includes strong cravings for non-food items. The most frequent are:

Dirt, clay

Paint chips, plaster, chalk

Cornstarch, laundry starch, baking soda

Cigarette ashes, burnt match heads

Rust

Library paste, white glue

Other items that are not usually considered food

Perhaps ten to twenty percent of children have pica at some time before adulthood. Almost all outgrow it.

Maybe these kids think that they have a gizzard. :floor:

My mother had pica when she was pregnant with my sister and I. There must have been something in the dirt she ate, to make me the way that I am. Crazy!

What a cute baby SJ!!!! Loved the video.

my sister was "picafied" when she was little. when we were walking on the sidewalk she would pick old gum off and put it in her mouth..:puke:
