Looking for Beach Rental Oct 8-12

My family and I are looking for a beach rental for 4 nights (Oct 8-12). This is what we would like:

• 2 bedroom or 1 bedroom with bunk beds for the kids (3br is overkill but I will consider if the price is right)
• A nice pool (private or community) that is close to the rental
• A nice porch or balcony to relax (watching the cars go by on 30A is not my definition of relaxing ;-))
• Easy access to the beach (beach front, very short walk, or convenient transit like golf cart, shuttle, etc.. I don't want to have to drive to and from the beach in my car)
• South of 30A preferable ( I don't want the kids to have to cross that road)
• Private beach preferable
• Beach front preferable, gulf view is acceptable

This is the first time we will be staying in South Walton after over 20 years of going to Destin and Ft. Walton for vacation. We are looking forward to our trip and exploring the area. We hope it leaves a good impression and we can bring our kids back year after year.

Please dont entertain this visitor with the notion that there are private beaches around here. That is how this entire private/public fiasco got started.
