Magnet, a self-billed gay/high energy dance club, opened with little fanfare at the end of February drawing in an eclectic mix of people, according to its co-owners Rick and Randy Cleveland.
?Basically what we are is an everybody club,? Rick Cleveland said. ?We?re not targeting one person or one group. We?re trying to target everyone who has an open mind.?
The identical twins, who already co-own Scully?s on the bayou and Coasters, decided despite the economy, to go forward with the new club a few months ago.
?Looking at the market locally, there was nothing filling that niche,? said Randy Cleveland.
